Commissioner Corner Message Board
I have been running hockey leagues for many years, and want to start up a new League. I am a very dedicated commish that runs a semi complicated league using points, a salary cap, entry drafts, regular drafts, and UFA's. Typically 2-3 weeks before season starts is very busy, then only little maintenance is required throughout the rest of the year (responding to trade requests, subbing in players for injured players etc)
Points are scored:
1pt for goal
1pt for assist
1pt for win
2pts for shutout.
Each team has a minimum of 20 players (12F, 6D, 2G) and an unlimited maximum amount of players, as long as your team is under the salary cap. We follow the NHL salary cap, and the first year we will draft players using their NHL salary.
In the off-season we will re-sign players, have a waiver draft, have an entry draft, and have a free agency auction.
I am hoping for at least 9 dedicated GM's to join me...please only respond if you have the time to commit to this, and will care about your team and the league. This league is only fun if the GM's care.
Let me know if you are interested. I have run this league before, and with a good group of GM's, it is the best league I have ever been a part of....more info to come if I get enough interested GM's.
