How to make a keeper league on yahoo?

Hi everyone, there are many keeper leagues on yahoo and i would like to make one for my friends who play with me every year. But so far we only played one year leagues and we would like to start keeper league.
Can someone please tell me how to make it? Where to set things etc? Or there ois no such thing as keeper league on yahoo and there is no way you can set it, so everything, every keeper league setting etc is only imaginary and you have to write in and track it on some forum or something like that? thanks a lot

You do have to decide on some sort of structure for your keepers. For instance in my hockey league, we keep 8 (any player) Franchise players. We also have a mandatory goalie and defense. Plus we keep 3 years of rookies, the past 2 seasons plus this years rookie. One of the things I really like about keeper leagues is the annual Rookie Draft. I have a one round rookie draft every year, without this feature mangers can quickly lose interest. One of the biggest challenges is trying to keep somoene's interest in a team that is failing. Lets face it no one really likes to lose and devote time and effort into a team they see no hope for.

      • Thanks, and does yahoo fantasy has some sort of keeper features and settings? Anything? Or the whole season and everything you do in it is completely same as normal one year seasons? I mean can you somehow lock the players and teams for example? Or do you have to do everything manually next season. Invite everyone again, draft the last years keepers and then continue with draftin the new rookies? Or can you somehow transfer the players from last season to the new season and just have rookie draft? etc etc. Thanks a lot
