Re: Re: A deal that is tearing my league apart
This is why a league needs established guidelines on a trade veto process. If you don't have a trade veto process, its never too late to make one, you being the commissioner and all. Thing is, that trade is pretty bad, even though hes getting three top flight prospects, theres no guarantee any of them turn out to sniff at Crosby's production. Probably need to ask the teams to tweak their trade to make it a bit more fair.

I think its up to the 2 mangers if they both agree to the trade and there is no sign of colusion then let it be.
Its up to each manger to manage thier own teams. If you think about it with crosbys concussion problems there is no guarentee that he will play a full season, just like there is no guarentee the 3 prospects will be top NHL players. Crosby is 1 big hit away from Marc Savardville.
I say let the trade through -

Our process has always been a case by case basis with a majority vote generally making the final call, although I do still have the ability to overrule. League is pretty much 50/50 split on this now that many have chimed in.

I have never vetoed a trade ever. (except out of spite). once someone vetos any trade i make i would veto every trade i see. if someone wants to make a dumb trade and ruin his team screw him. If your the benefiter of the trade then my hat is off to you. This trade is not at all unfair. 3 of the better prospects in the league for a possible concussion case. hes building for the future
