Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have Pekka Rinne as one of my goalies and just noticed the Predators are playing the Penguins tonight.
I am currently +3 in Goaltender games played, but am thinking Nashville and Buffalo will give Rinne and Miller atleast 1 game off before the end of the season.
With Crosby back and the Penguins lighting up the opposition, would you start Pekka Rinne tonight?
Even if I'm projected to be a minus in goaltender games played going into the last week, I also have Backstrom getting healthy, so I could put him in for a game or two.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!-

it's a toss up, it is a risky start with such a hot pens team, but pekka usually bounces back after a bad performance(which he had last game).i like to take his average and start him every chance i get.

I'll probably put him in and as for having a bad performance his last game. He may have let in 3 goals on 7 shots, but I don't think any of them could be considered his fault.
If I remember corectly the first one was a pass from behind the net that when in off somebody's foot and on the second goal, he was knocked over when one of his defencemen pushed an Edmonton forward into him.
With that being said, he still let in 3 goals on 7 shots and was pulled, so I guess it was a bad performance.
Here's hoping he bounces back with a shutout against the most dynamic offence in the league!
