Commissioner Corner Message Board
So i'm in a 16 league dynasty pool with verryy deep rosters.
I picked this team up and am on the bubble for being in the playoffs (9 out of 16)
I have made three trades so far.
First I got
Rich Peverly, Rick Nash, Kyle Quincey, Brent Burns, Brian Boyle, and prospect Jonas Brodin.
Lars Eller, Wayne Simmonds, Jack Johnson, Marc Staal, Kyle Clifford and prospect Jordan Caron
Second trade i got
Matt Cooke, Nick Palmieri and Nathan Horton
Viktor Stalberg, Andrei Kostitsyn and Simon Gagne
Last trade i got
Bryan Little, Corey Potter, Karl Alzner and Loui Eriksson
John Carlson, Ryan McDonagh and Rich Peverly
My roster now looks like this
C - Jason Spezza, Logan Couture (LW), Bryan Little (RW), Chris Kelly, Brian Boyle, Brandon Sutter,
LW - Loui Eriksson (RW), Matt Moulson, Andrew Brunette, Dustin Penner, Andrew Cogliano (C), Matt Cooke
RW - Phil Kessel, Nathan Horton, Rick Nash (LW), Peter Sykora, Chris Neil, Nick Palmieri
D - Shea Weber, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Kyle Quincey, Brent Burns, Zack Bogosian, Corey Potter, Karl Alzner, Marek Zidlicky
G - Jonathan Quick, Jonas Hiller, Cory Schneider
IR - Sidney Crosby (C), Jordan Staal (C/LW), Brian Gionta (RW)
RW: Scott Glennie
C: Mika Zibanejad
G: Robin Lehner
D: Slava Voynov
C: Jakob Silfverberg
RW: Jordan Caron
What do you think of the trades and how does this team look?
I gave up a lot of D but my defense is still top 5 in the league so it should be fine. Also Hits and Blocks aren't counted in our league so there is a huge importance to have good forwards.

I'll probably address that and my Goaltending prospects at the draft next year. I'm happy with Zibanejed, Caron and Voynov though in their respective positions. Don't know too much about my goalie prospect though.

It's a dynasty league so the first guy is building for the future with guys like Eller etc. He was very high on Brodin, but with my defense i figured i could give him up. Plus i really like Caron's game.
The third trade was because of the guy's defence. I told him the only person i would trade for is Loui. He's also a big Boston fan so that's where Peverly came in.
the only thing i would do if i were you, is test the water to see what you can get for crosby. you dont know what his future holds.if he starts playing at all, then i'd trade him asap. casue you dont want to be stuck with him if he ends up having to call it quits

Yeah i've put him on the trading block. But i'm also looking for a pretty good return on him as well. No one's been able to offer that so far unfortunatley. I keep getting lowballed on him. I may wait till he returns then sell him off.
