Commissioner Corner Message Board
the trade got vetoed in my league. im sure the commish has his reasons for doing so, because he said it was a very one sided trade, and many in my league agreed, but the two managers making the trade...me and someone else, both thought it wasn't really that bad...
Trade: Ryan+Wheeler+a 9th
vetoable or not?
i would not veto that trade and i do not think that the ryan side is so great. wheeler though is doing well this year has been a dissappointment.
JVR has huge upside and parento is an equal to wheeler
give the edge to the ryan side this season but not so sure after that

The Ryan side is better. Ryan is pretty much a bust this year but has arguably more potential than JVR, Wheeler is playing well alongside Kane and the 9th pick is an obvious improvement over the 12th. I wouldn't have vetoed it... Maybe if the picks were switched it would've passed...
Trades should only be vetoed to prevent collusion or cheating.
Since the above trade includes younger players AND it's a keeper league, I cannot see any reason to veto the trade.
Personally I don't like the trade, but I've seen some odd trades that work out in favour of the "losing side".
