Commissioner Corner Message Board
2-team dynasty league (meaning that you start with 2 complete NHL teams and all of their players) has 2 openings.
The two open teams are:
Dallas/Toronto and Washington/Edmonton
The league is in it's 3rd year, and it has a great bunch of managers.
As far as league rules: You're allowed to make trades, and the FA pool sort of acts as your "minor leagues" in the sense that you can only add a player from waivers/FA that is on one of you're 2 NHL teams (so, if you drop a player from one of your 2 NHL teams, only you can pick him back up whenever you want). Players that you trade for are yours for as long as you want, provided that you don't drop them (which would return them to their original owner)
I run a baseball, football, and basketball league in the same format and its a lot of fun, and this is a great way to get into a league with good managers that will be around for many years.
Email me ASAP (firstname.lastname@example.org) or post here if you're interested, or if you want more info on the league or to see the 2 open teams' rosters. First 2 people to get back to me get the franchises.
The Washington Oilers franchise is now open as I've had to replace the previous owner.
The team is currently 9th out of 14 (but that was with an inattentive owner) and has some very good pieces: Ovechkin, Semin, Backstrom, Nugent-Hopkins, Visnovsky, Mike Green, etc.
Very competitive team that just needs a good owner.
