For anyone wanting to find a serious league to join, this is it. This is my 2nd league that I will be commissioner of this season. I currently commish one other league that is in it's 2nd year. A very successful keeper league that has a real deep roster.
I expect the same results from this pool. I will be switching the rules up a bit to give it a different feel. I have some GMs coming over from my other league to participate in both. I am one of the better and more active commissioners you will find. Any questions you may have, you will most likely get an answer an hour or two later. On to the rules.
Roster Positions:
C, C, C, LW, LW, RW, RW, D, D, D, D, Util, G, G, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, IR, IR
A deep bench makes for some tougher decisions on who to start that night. It also makes for a deeper league, and serious hockey poolies love deeper leagues. The decision to go with a 3rd centermen was due to the depth at the position.
Points System
Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Points (PPP), Game-Winning Goals (GWG), Faceoffs Won (FW), Hits (HIT), Blocks (BLK)
Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Saves (SV), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)
PIMS, Hits and Blocks are part of the game, it gives some players much more fantasy value. It's easy to draft for points, but this system involves strategy.

I am looking for serious competitors only. I don't mind the casual player, as long as you stay active all year. Showing up for the draft is important, so make sure the draft time is good for you, because it will not be changed. I just had a very successful draft a couple days ago in which all 20 teams showed up, I hope for the same here.
I will also be using this league as possible replacements for my keeper league. If a team every decides to drop out I will look to this league for a fill-in. This is NOT a keeper league, but rather a league that will start fresh every season.
