Commissioner Corner Message Board
ok i need help. my team was already hurting with injuries but this week really did me in. i need help figuring out who to keep on ir, who to drop, and who to pick up. im in deep 14 team h2h league based on g, a, pts, pim, +/-, sog, ppp, gwg, and fow's
lw - kovalchuk, versteeg, vanek, latendresse, elias
c - stastny, stajan, elias, pavelski
rw - semin, selanne, hejduk, latendresse, pavelski
d - markov, blake, andy greene, del zotto, chara
g - luongo, nabokov
ir - bergeron, booth
selanne out 2-6 weeks
bergeron may return next week
elias has a shoulder injury but is unknown when he'll return
hejduk was a scratch sat due to a right knee problem
semin is starting to worry me b/c of a sore wrist
booth wont proably ever return but i have a ton of lw's anyways
trade a goalie for a stud rw/c? what do you guys think?
notable fa's (there isnt much)
alex steen, josh baily, matt cullen, brandon dubinsky, saku koivu, keith tkachuk, dustin byfuglien, michal handzus, drew staford, brian rolston, steve downie (pims), cam ward, jonas hiller, tuuka rask
Booth should have been dropped a long time ago, pull the trigger.
Selanne = done, too unlucky/fragile, drop him.
Semin is excellent trade bait, use him for that.
Bergeron + Elias are IR keepers.
I have no opinion on Hejduk.
Hiller & Ward might be a pleasant surprise and a backup goalie is rarely a bad pickup.

we are only allowed 2 goalies so thats why i was considering trading one of my studs because there is some decent talent in the fa pool to back up one or the other.
booth is supposed to return in a couple weeks though and he'll be playing with horton/weiss. i havent been holding onto him, i just picked him up before i got all my injuries...
thanks for the advice!
