Commissioner Corner Message Board
We need some outside arbiter opinions. The commissioner of our league wants to make a trade with the brand new guy in our league.
The commissioner gets:
Paul Stastny, Dany Heatley, Milan Hejduk & Steve Mason
The rookie gets:
Chris Kunitz, Alexander Semin, Kimmo Timonen, Rich Peverley, Nikolai Khabibulin.
It has been vetoed by the league 3 times.
The commissioner is really mad. He's even changed the trade review time from two days to one and is now threatening to remove it altogether. He posted some mean messages to everyone in the league.
Now he's arguing his point and his arguement has basically come down to Heatley vs. Kunitz.
His actual statement: "Heatley-Kunitz: If you didnt notice Kunitz is pretty highly ranked, and plays with Malkin and Crosby."
Is this a fair trade? Is it right for us to veto the trade? Does his case hold water? Is it wrong for him to threaten us? Is it wrong for him to change the league settings in the middle of one of his trades?
Please post your messages!!! He's waiting for a response.

Thank you. That's the consesus in our league. The guy that is usually a commissioner (and has never had this problem in the 10 years I've played in his leagues) is in our league but taking a break from being a commissioner.
I'm going to have to play devil's advocate and go against the grain here, although I think that it's an unfair trade, I don't see it as quite the injustice to fantasy as some of you. I see it like this ..
Mason for Khabi = wash
Stastny for Peverley = wash
Kunitz for Hejduk = wash
Semin and Timonen for Heater = I'd never give up Heater for that little but I can see the case if you need the D
