It's not up to Yahoo, it's up to PIT to put him on IR. They must do it first before Yahoo can act. He must be on "real life IR" & he is not, as of now. They already have Skoula signed & playing, I believe, so they don't really have to do anything. If they call up a d man from the minors, that should be a sign to keep your eyes open. I have Gonchar on 3 teams, so I understand what you're feeling. That link that was provided has been sent to Yahoo by many people, including myself. Try typing the word Gonchar into the search box in the upper left corner. Read the multiple posts. This game is for fun & competition, & that's why it's so hard to just sit here & wait for what? The unknown.....I'm not going to wait 4 to 6 weeks for a player whose wrist may or may not be the same after this. IR yes, deadwood no. Hope this helps you.
