    Gonchar has been hurt for a couple games now...out for 4 to 6 weeks where is hia IR designation??????????????????? Gonchar owners are shorthanded while they idle along!!!!!!!

      I have Gonchar on 3 teams, so I'm not real happy either. From what I understand, the team(Pit) has to place the player on IR officially before Yahoo will. I looked all over the Pit site, & there is no word of him being placed on IR...yet. Checked TSN as well, & they just say the same thing, "out for 4 to 6 weeks." Maybe it's a $$$ thing, I have no idea. That makes no sense to me. I can only sit here & either watch all remaining decent D players get picked up, drop him & pick up another D, drop him & go with just 3 D men & pick up the best avail player, or do nothing & hope IR hits today???? I doubt it will......something is wrong somewhere & something is always slow.

        The PENS have to put him on the REAL ir before he gets FANTASY ir.... the bruins put sava...

        the reason why Gonch hasnt hit the IR list yet is because 1) it needs to come from the tea...

        the reason why Gonch hasnt hit the IR list yet is because 1) it needs to come from the team reports firstly before yahoo can adjust that slot to IR for the player and 2) when a team has IR players dependin on how many current IR's they have on the team and whos going to be out longer,only then can they slot them to move to the IR has to do with who they are gonna call up to replace the injured and has to do with salary cap and once a player is called up and they play 9 games they cant be sent back to juniors take Del Zotto as a great example,hes been amazin and was called up to help out at D and turned out to be a key D for NYR,I have Gonch on 4 teams but thats why he hasnt hit the IR yet

      it is bs. savard is on IR already and was injured after gonchar (if I'm not mistaken)

      It's extremely frustrating. I've watched two of the three replacements I've had in mind for him get signed while waiting for him to be put on the IR. Yahoo is completely ridiculous. Stuff like this really kills off my interest in keeping up with a fantasy league.
