Commissioner Corner Message Board
I'm my league's commish, and I suspect two of my teams are going to collude to cheat soon. I need to know how to veto this trade that is going down soon (I think they're planning to trade Ovechkin for Burrows)
ALSO - May I have your opinion on a trade?
Miller and Lecalvier
I'm trading Miller/Lecalvier. I have Luongo as my second goalie, and plan on picking up Varlamov if this deal goes through.
DO NOT DO THAT TRADE!!! Backstrom had a great system in front of him last year. Now there is a lack of defence so he will not post decent numbers this year. Miller is hot right now. Lecavalier will need another month to get his timing back then he should be racking up the points.
In Commish tools click on Edit League Settings, you have to change the Trade Review settings to commisioner review, After you do that you'll get an email once a trade is agreed upon, and you'll be given the option to veto it.
Make sure you also change the amount of time a trade can be reviewed to at least 1 day.

Do NOT change the settings after the season has started! That will make your league managers p*ssed off and not trust you! If you have set the trade review to commissioner votes from the beginning of the season, fine, if you feel a trade is fishy then it will be obvious what to do when the trade is accepted. However, if it's set to league votes then you keep it that way, and let the other managers vote on it. If it's that fishy that other managers will likely veto it.
