Commissioner Corner Message Board
We are a great group of Hockey Nuts. We have created a cap league with rules. I will post the link to the excel file that has our rules and teams. The two teams needing replacement managers are Penz and Bledhounds. They were bottom dwellers last year but they are able to be competitive with the right active manager. We are a proud league with great active managers and feared these two weak links would be needing replaced so since they haven't signed in we are moving on with replacing them.
The type of mangers we are seeking are competitive and not whiners or trouble makers. But can throw around good smack talk. We would be more likely to choose managers with a lengthy Yahoo Fantasy history. Please read the rules and check the teams out. We will be picky so this isnt a first come first serve unless you are approved as a manger from the majority vote of our present managers. We have alot of leaf fans here but a few other teams fans. Its fun and competitive salary cap. Please check out the link below for the excel file with the rules and teams. Remember we want a committed manager for years to come. we dont want to replace anymore anytime.
The teams have deep 25 man rosters plus 3 ir spots. 4c,4lw,4rw,5dmen,1 winger,1 utilty, I goalie with a 3 min games rule.
Stats are..Forwards/Defensemen Stat Categories: Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shorthanded Goals (SHG), Game-Winning Goals (GWG), Shots on Goal (SOG), Shooting Percentage (SH%), Faceoffs Won (FW)
Goaltenders Stat Categories: Games Started (GS), Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)

This league is for the Die Hard Hockey Fans that want more than Yahoo can offer.
I would be interested in taking over a team.
I've been playing for nearly 10 years and have been a commissioner in my own league for 5 now. Dabbled around with other sports early on but now am devoted to hockey.
I'm very active and check every day, sometimes two or three times.
I've been looking to join a keeper league for a while now.
read your post and downloaded the rules. I love the work and ambition put into your league. Too bad you have to luck for replacement managers, but perhaps I could convince you to pick me as one of the new guys. I was especially enticed by the use of the salary cap in your league - a great way to improve the fun.
I participated in a points league last year (deep league with 25 roster spots and 13 competitors). With a bit of skill and a big chunk of luck (and loads of banter and smack talk along the way) I managed to win that league. This year I was hoping to make that league into a keeper, but the interest was sadly not shared. :) Therefore I'd gladly join your league and take over Penz or Bledhounds.
I have been running golf leagues and Premier League-leagues (...soccer) earlier and I am a dedicated fantasy- and sports-nerd, playing out of Sweden.
The only question I have is how the points in each stats category is weighed? A minor detail, but still interesting to see how much goalies, d-men, etc, actually are worth compared to each other.
Hi, I'm very interested with plenty of experience. I ran my own league for many years that had a salary cap. Here is a link to the website we used: http://cfhl05.tripod.com/ check it out.

I have been playing fantasy hockey online since 2002.
I run a 15 team, 5 keeper league, going into our 4th season and have only had to replace 2 managers.
I would enjoy the challenge of rebuilding a team and winning your pool, perhaps this would get me an office job with the leafs?
I am a Leafs fan so would fit right in.
If you need anymore information let me know.

To update. We will be selecting a manager tomorrow night and it will be by the majority of the managers in the league who will all come on here and also review the messages potential managers have made. So I wont tip my hat to any particular manager at this time. And will leave it up to my leagues members to vote on.
But I will answer any questions has our league is in depth and we want the right two managers to join us. We are laid back passionate mature experienced active managers. And we want the same back so my apologies for the delay.
