Commissioner Corner Message Board
I am going to start a keeper league this season, open to everyone.
There will be 10 categories in total, 4 for goalies and 6 for players, they will be:
Power Play Points
That is what I'm thinking now but I am more than willing to change things if the majority of people in the league want them changed.
Thinking of a league size of anywhere between 14 and 20 managers. It will be Head 2 Head type scoring. The draft order will be decided randomly.
Another idea I was thinking of is where each team is an NHL team and gets that teams players, we would still draft for that as well, to make it fair. And which ever draft pick you get, 1-14 will be when you get to pick the NHL team you want. Of course there would only be 1 of each team, so if the team you wanted was already selected you would have to pick a different one.
Leave a message here if interested, or reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org
As well leave your email address and I will email you when we get a full league, and be sure to let me know what league you would prefer to have, thanks.
are you guys doing the team thing or just players? I would be willing to join if it was players and you didnt have to draft a whole team... I'd love to be in it... Email me with the answer and ill let you know if i am in...
This sounds pretty good to me. Although I have to warn you I'm relatively new to the whole Fantasy sports world (unless you include a home-made fantasy soccer league during high school). While I'm here; can anyone recommend links / pages to find out more about getting started? A kind of Fantasy sports guide for dummies?

one thing I did when I first started was buy a pool guide at the start of the season. Don't follow it word for word cause even experts can be wrong but use it has a guide with a bit of your own input. You will get the hang of it quick. plus there are always great young players coming up if you miss out on a couple
