i never said i was a leafs fan, i hate the leafs and sundin could have easily taken a pay cut and palyed for 1 million dollars (especially now that he has all that money from his poker adds) but the reason they weren't interested in sundin wasnt cap space but because neither of those teams even wanted him, but if i could go to any team except those 2 i'd pick pitts, phili, wash, montreal, boston, anaheim, chicago even calgary all way ahead of either vancuver or new york, but instead sundin chose 10 million dollars

and where would toronto be without sundin now? well instead of missing the playoffs the last 3 years by a few points they would have finished near the bottom and acutally stocked up on some real prospects and be in very good postion for the next few years
