    Dynasty League Help

I'm in the first year of a dynasty league and at season's end I had 3 players on IR, but had a full roster, so I need to cut three from a 3rd place team.

The players coming back from IR are Malkin, Barkov and Harding.

Who if any should I cut to make room? Stats are G, A, +/-, PIM, SOG

G – Mason, Crawford, Schneider, Harding (must have 4 starts a week while starting a max of 2 at a time)
D - Byfuglien, Krug, Trouba, Lindholm (play all 4)
RW – Perry, Nyquist, Nichushkin, Mantha,
LW – Jeff Carter, Kuznetsov, Teravainen, Drouin
C – Crosby, Getzlaf, Turris, Strome, Scheifele, Barkov, Johansen, Malkin

    My thoughts are

    cut Harding
    cut Teravainen for Malkin
    cut Carter for Barkov

    Also, 2 other questions

Schwartz and Palat are available; cut Teravanien for either?
Gibson is available, cut any of Mason, Crawford, Schneider for him?

    Thanks

    • Cut Harding, Teravainen, Strome...I would also suggest trading Malkin or Getzlaf for one of Karlsson, Weber, Subban, or Doughty along with a high end LW or RW prospect. You're deep enough at C to withstand the loss and it's also a deep position on the wire...having one of those top, young D men will be far more valuable.

    • 3 to cut: Harding, Strome, Scheifele
Harding is a health issue and you have much better options than Strome and Schiefele (Nichushkin, Drouin, Mantha, Teravainen, Kuzetsov). I would not cut Carter as he's a pure goal scorer and gets tons of SOGs.
Gibson is a franchise goalie - long term he is a much better option than Mason. Sho rt term he may not get as many starts this year but you have 2 guys in Crawford and Schneider who will. I wouldn't bother with getting Palat given your depth and Schwartz is a nice player but St Louis scores by committee so I don't see him putting up big numbers for the foreseeable future. Again, given the depth you have with your forwards, your future looks bright.
