    Dynasty League Keepers

    Hey Everyone-

I'm in a dynasty league where we keep everyone from year to year. I'm about to win my first round playoff match and have some decisions to make. I need to think about each move not only for this upcoming semifinals week but also long-term. I don't want to sell my future down the river, so to speak, if I don't have to.

I'm know asking a lot, but I appreciate any opinions.
    Thanks!

    Goalies:

I think I'm pretty good here with
    Sergei Bobrovsky Cls - G
    Semyon Varlamov Col - G
    Ben Bishop TB - G
    Ondrej Pavelec Wpg - G

Pavelec is the weak link but Karri Ramo just became available. Do I pick Ramo up and drop Pavelec?

On right wing, someone just dropped Jason Pominville. My weakest RW currently is Valeri Nichushkin. Am I mortgaging the future if I drop him? I could drop Hodgson as his +/- stinks, but he makes up worth it with faceoff wins.

    Right Wing:
    Marian Gaborik LA - RW
    Joe Pavelski SJ - C,LW,RW
    Alexander Semin Car - LW,RW
    David Perron Edm - LW,RW
    Cody Hodgson Buf - C,RW

Lastly, there's some young guys that are playing well as noted in a Yahoo article. Who do you think might be worth picking up to help with the playoff run, but most importantly build for the future? Who might I drop? Maatta or Trouba? I think both have future potential. Maybe Eller? Thoughts?

    Available:
    Mikael Backlund Cgy - C
    Ondrej Palat TB - LW
    Brandon Pirri Fla - C
    Mikael Granlund Min - C
    Nicklas Jensen Van - LW,RW
    Roman Josi Nsh - D
    Alex Galchenyuk Mon - C,LW

    My remaining Roster:
    Center:
    Joe Thornton SJ - C
    Ryan Getzlaf Anh - C
    Lars Eller Mon - C

    Left Wing:
    Evander Kane Wpg - LW
    Gabriel Landeskog Col - LW
James van Riemsdyk Tor - LW

    Defence:
    Duncan Keith Chi - D
    Kevin Shattenkirk StL - D
    Olli Maatta Pit - D
    Brent Seabrook Chi - D
    Jacob Trouba Wpg - D

    IR
    Aleksander Barkov Fla - C
    Daniel Sedin Van - LW

    • id drop hodgson and pavelec and pick up pominville for the playoff run and either galy or granlund probably who ever is better at faceoffs (idk who is because I've never played with that category) for future purposes. I know these leaves you with 3 goalies, but you have got three studs and they should be just fine. your d is set, I would not mess with that.

      • Thanks Michael. I think I've done a pretty decent job of building it up, but it's always nice to get an unbiased eye to look at my team.

I just got Daniel Sedin back, so I dropped Pavelec. I got busy yesterday and snoozed on Pominville. That was dumb of me. [sigh]. Both Granlund and Galchenyuk project out as studs, so I like your thinking there. Granlund currently has more faceoff wins because he's been centering Zach Parise and Jason Pominville. It looks like Galy is moving to center so I'll watch that as well. Galy's current +/- could be the deciding factor though, as it puts him on par with Hodgson.

        Thanks again!
