Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I get to keep 5 players. We have 3 C,LW,and RW, 4D and 2G on the roster. Goals are worth 3 Assists are worth 2, Hits and Blocked Shots are worth .3 SHG and PPP 1, - Goalie wins are worth 5, goals against -1, saves .2, SO 3.
Lundqvist, Rinne, Bobrovski, Fasth
Thinking Lundy, Rinne, Bobrovski, Kane and Letang. Thoughts?
Kane, Datsyuk, Parise, Lundy, Rinne. 2 of the top 5 goalies and 3 elite forwards is never a bad strategy.
Letang isn't a big goal scorer or shot blocker and you can get assists at any point in the draft.
Lundqvist, Rinne, Kane, Parise for sure. I'm kinda torn between Letang/Dats/Shats/Piets for your last pick since all have the potential to do VERY well or not live up to expectations. Dats would probably be the safest choice of that group though.

I agree with the first 4 keepers. And you're 5th really is a toss up and can depend on how many teams are in your league. If it's a deep league then an elite dman like Letang can be extremely valuable. But if you're wanting to keep a forward then I'd lean slightly towards Nash over Dats though. Even though Dats might put up more points then Nash, Nash has move value when you factor in your points structure for goals, hits and blocked shots. So Lundqvist, Rinne, Kane, Parise and Nash for me.
i wouldnt keep 3 goalies. i'd keep lundqvist and rinne for sure. also, kane, nash and datsyuk. tough to let letang go as he'll give you big time points from the back end but i just dont think you can let the other three forwards go

I worry about Nash, he didn't end up doing as well as I hoped. Datsyuk's age is kind of deterring me a bit. I have contemplated trading a goalie for a forward, after the draft, which is why I was leaning that way. The question for that is, is Bobrovski going to get me better than Nash back...?
