Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
First off...I know I've posted here alot recently so sorry if I annoy anyone lol. I'm just worried since I feel I need to improve my team. I'm in a 12-team H2H league and I'd like a solid starting goalie I can trust down the stretch, especially since I barely am making goalie minimum requirements. My team is 3rd despite questionable goaltending so I know I can win if I finally get starting goalies. I'm thinking of making these offers, are they good all deals? I also want to make offers for Kopi and Perry since I like them alot.
I get Hiller + Sharp and give up Holtby + Elias
Note: Only have 1 IR spot so hope I can withstand being down 2 guys although I like Sharp long-term. This guy is also in last so he might be desparate for guys that can play now.
I get Niklas Backstrom (goalie) + Evander Kane + Muzzin/Schults/no-one
I give up: Schneider + David Clarkson + Kronwall/Ekman-Larsson
Note: I'll try to negotiate with manager but the d-men scenarios are worst and best cases
I get Quick + Marchand and give up Holtby + Clarkson
I get Kopitar and give up Stepan + Kronwall
I get Corey Perry and give up Clarkson + Kronwall
My lineup is C - Couture, Jordan Staal, Stepan, Spezza(IR) LW - Elias, Ray Whitney, RW - Gaborik, Clarkson, Iginla, Carter, D - Chara, Doughty, Kronwall, Ekman-Larsson, G - Holtby, Schneider, Vokoun.
In this situation, should I offer all the trades? If there are some that are lowball offers, let me know how I can improve them since I don't want to time as deadline is in 24 hours. Thanks!
Deal 3 no doubt. The Kings are surging and Quick is returning to old form. Marchand and Clarkson are pretty similar, both gritty forwards who will get you the same amount of points. And Holtby plays on a struggling Washington team so you'd be lucky to get rid of him for that good of a return. I'd probably go for offer 4 too. You could use a really good centre and he's a HUGE upgrade over Stepan. Sucks to lose Kronwall but I think you have a lot of depth on D even if you lose him. Offer 5 is interesting but if Clarkson is gone in deal 3 then you would have to tweak it. Don't do deal 1 because Hiller and Fasth split in Anaheim. Even though they're ridiculous you won't be getting enough wins with Hiller.
