Are any of these offers good for me to make?

You have a good point on Perry, but I think Elias is a consistent scorer who will get you around a point-per-game. By the time Perry picks up (it very well could be now, he scored a couple times recently), it might just net you the same amount of points by the end of the season. The only advantage I see is Perry's PIMs

As for Kopitar, the Kings are just doing downright awful. I personally would stay away from Kings, but that's just me...

You said you were worried about your goalie status, so I picked the offer that made the most sense for that. And then I went back and read that you're also looking to buy-low in hopes to pull ahead. I don't think these offers will net you much upside besides the goalie trade though, you'll get more starts and better numbers with Brodeur

    • Yeah good point....I think I will make offer 1. My plan was to try and grab Perry who I think is a sure thing and while Elias is doing well...I'm unsure. Then since I have Perry and Clarkson for PIM, I was thinking of trading Clarkson for an elite player since I'm unsure if Clarkson can keep it up the whole year although I wouldn't trade him now as his value with PIM is key too.

      • That's a good plan, although I think it'd be hard to nab an elite player with Clarkson. Thing with Perry though is that you don't know if he's a sure thing. Maybe I'm biased though, because I chose him last season after his 50 goal/98 point season, and he disappointed me with a 60 point season :P.

It's hard to gamble in a short season like this one. Slumping players have less time to pick it up, and how long can you afford to wait for them to pick up their pace? Just something to think about

    • I can agree with what you said about Perry although he did rack up 100+ PIM last year as well...I had him on my team and won last year lol. I know my team is solid but the goaltending is iffy....that's why I'm feeling offer 1 lol
