How are you looking on the goalie side? Also, is this a keeper? I am really struggling to decide who I would rather have on my side. But personally, I would take Skinner. The Rangers are currently ranked 26th in goals scored, but they are going through some experimentation. Kreider is due to play on the top line with Richards and Nash so it should be an interesting sight. I like Tarasenko, but I would rather have your end of the deal with what I know as of now.

Goalies I have Backstrom, Miller, Smith, and Fleury. Havn't decided if its a keeper league yet/ what best way to do that even though were the same league as last year. What are your thoughts on a str8 up trade between skinner and richards?

See, the thing is, Denis really isn't wrong. Neither am I. It's a toss up at this point I would say because I would say that they both have established themselves as prominent, respectable scoring threats in the league (Richards with more experience). I would still side with Skinner on this one.
There is a possibility of this turning into a keeper, so he's good for that option, yet Jeff also has dual position eligibility. That opens up more options for you to taylor your team as needed whether it be trades or just flexibility in the starting line up. Richards will put up numbers this season, I'm confident. And so will Skinner. I just see that Skinner is on the rise of his young career so things look up for him. I believe that Skinner is the better overall option, but not by much.
Verdict: Feel confident with whatever side you choose. You have my recommendation of keeping Skinner. But don't worry about losing anything either way. By the way, I do like your idea of the counter. Seems really fair all around (I still would take your side regardless).
Good luck!
