Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I think everyone's had just enough of Doan, having over 1k Yahoo! teams drop him after a few consecutive goose egg games. Also wouldn't miss Havlat if I dropped him. I have many players with dual position eligibility, so POS doesn't really matter that much here, but should be noted I have lots of RW. Standard H2H categories apply: G, A, +/-, PPP, SOG, PIM for skaters. Here's the free agent pool; I've highlighted some picks for consideration:
C: Nielsen, Desharnais, Kadri, Hanzal, S.Koivu, Mueller, Weiss, Mitchell, Galchenyuk, Stepan, Roy
LW: JVR, Tanguay, Malone, Vermette, McGinn, Korpikoski
RW: Boyes, Voracek, Read, Frattin, Kulemin
Are any of these worthy? I keep looking at Mueller, 4 goals in 4 games, Matt Read, Matt Frattin. Weiss and Versteeg always have decent seasons. Now that Derek Roy has returned, he could be an option. Hanzal has also been decent since return from injury.
So- Who do you think? Lemme know, and raise yourself a glass!
Alright, I think I want either: S.Koivu, Roy, Hanzal, or Weiss; for some reason, Koivu is on a small hot streak. He almost never shoots, but when it does, it finds twine. Hanzal has two in a row, and Roy has potential, but in a 2nd line format. Weiss, returning from injury, has a goal tonight, looking to get back in form. Also- Pleks was just dropped (again,) along with Ryder. Also, McGinn still available. That change your mind? Anyone else?
I like Derek Roy the most in your C's. Hanzal would be my 2nd take, Kadri being the 3rd, Desharnais the 4th.
I actually really like McGinn, I think he's gonna have a great year. Tanguay would be my 2nd, JVR the 3rd.
None of the RW are worth looking it, all streaky and inconsistent. Maybe Frattin, but your C's and LW takes are all better.
