Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Hey guys, I'm doing well in my pool (currently 2nd out of 9), BUT, not doing well in HITS/PIMS (2nd last). I know it's early, but, should I consider moving one of my offensive fwd's for someone more gritty? If so, who? I was thinking someone like Lucic, Buff, or, until he got injured last night, Hartnell.
Here's my roster -
C - Malkin
LW - Datsyuk
LW - Vanek
RW - Neal
RW - Eriksson
Bench - Marchand
Bench - Selanne
G's - Schneider, Anderson, Crawford, Lindback.
Also, depending on what kind of stats you have, and with only 4 def, someone better than giordano is likely out there on waivers. Being on CGY will eventually hurt his plus/minus, and scoring. Someone like Garrison, Seidenberg, or Bieksa would be better, if possible.

Hey Jason - Thx for the tips! Sorry, didn't include the other details for league.
I'm in a 9 team league, and points for the following:
Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Goals (PPG), Powerplay Assists (PPA), Shots on Goal (SOG), Hits (HIT)
You're right, one of my bench slots is being used for a Goalie. I have a few extra tenders as I wasn't too confident in Schneider or Crawford! Grabbed the extras hoping ONE of them would stand out!
your rosters are shallow enough in this league to problem maybe only for a short time pick up really rough type players (usually wingers, like hartnell/downie/simmonds) to bump up you hits/PIMs/) if only for a while. Depending on how many teams are in your league (probably 10-12), and with rosters this small, you don't need that many goalies, so drop Lindback and pick up Lucic. He's projected as a top 25 winger anyway, so get him. Your league really need bigger bench than 2 people, although i'm assuming at least 1 of your goalies is benched on any given day?
