    Getting Killed in face offs

I know it's early, but I have 0 FWs. I managed to draft Crosby and a number of center eligible forwards, but they are more like wingers. Who would be a couple of true centers that could be counted on in the face off dot that I could target in a trade or, more likely, in FA.

    • I added Andy mac and maybe an ott or Tor center might be available. Also try sorting FA by Face off wins. That helps with me.

      • macdonald, while being a useful player (especially assists, especially this year, with tarasenko on his line), is NOT good at faceoffs. Try people like Plekanec/Bozak/Roy/Fisher, i.e. starting centers who ARE good at faceoffs and get a lot of minutes; but since they are on relatively weak offense's/systems they aren't hyped and can be gotten cheap. Careful, as Roy won't be starting center all that much longer, when Benn comes back. Also, try to find wingers who take faceoffs, they are rare, but they're out there.(Couturier/Vermette (qualifies at both C/LW)/Turris/Brodziak)
