    Tarasenko or Justin Schultz?

I'm currently playing in a keeper league that allows 8 keepers. My roster is
C: Crosby, Brayden Schenn, Jeff Carter
LW: Jordan Staal, Alex Semin, James van Riemsdyk
    RW: Eberle, Patrick Kane, Tarasenko
D: Mike Green, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Justin Schultz, Duncan Keith
    G: Price, Niemi
BN: Hodgson, Brent Burns, Derek Roy, Cogliano, Henrique

So far, I've potentially decided on 7 of my keepers, and have chosen Crosby, Schenn, Staal, Eberle, Kane, Price, and Oliver Ekman-Larsson. I have room for one more, however. Should I keep Vladimir Tarasenko or Justin Schultz, and why?
Also, should I make any changes to my current keepers?

    • Schultz. Look at the forwards he'll be playing with: Hall, Eberle, Yakupov, RNH. He will score points by default. Tarasenko will be playing in a more defensive style under Hitchcock, therefore, less scoring, more defense.

    • Can't recommend changes to your keepers you listed.

Your last choice is tough though seeing how they are only two games into NHL.

Regardless Tara has a had a good start with 5 pts/2 games. Shultz is from what I understand a "can't miss" dman.

To me forwards are plentiful but a standout Dman are rare so I would lean that way. This also bares
in mind that you did select 5 FW as keepers already omitting Keith.

I would wait until last minutes before turning names in. When do you need them in? Keepers are
usually done at end of season.
