Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
10 team h2h keeper where we use real world salary of players and a $25 million cap (ex Malkin has $9 mil salary this year). start 2 C, 2 LW, 2 RW, 4 D, 1 UTIL
C: Malkin, B Richards, Getzlaf, Marchand
LW: Landeskog, E Kane, Franzen
RW: Giroux, Yakupov, Tarasenko
D: Byfuglien, Erhoff, Del Zotto, Myers, Fowler
G: Rask, Quick
Should I drop someone for Conacher. If I do it would probably be my extra D (Myers or Fowler). Conacher has 1 G, 3 A so far in 2 games. He is playing about 15 min a a game with about 3 mins power play time. Also, he comes with a 925,000 salary which is great for my keeper rules. If he turns out to be a stud he could be a steal
Other under $1 mil salaries on my team: Yakupov, Landeskog, Tarasenko, Fowler
No way is that line up is under $25 million but it doesn't matter.
I agree 100% what Jay states. Yukopov if you want Conacher but it is very very early to be tossing the #1 draft pick away.
With all those gunners and silky passers on Oil me thinks he well get his share of points

My bad. There is no overall salary cap. I meant a keeper cap of $25 mil. So the guys I kept from last year based off 2011-12 salaries were Malkin, Giroux, Getzlaf, Marchand, Landeskog, Kane, Del Zotto, Myers and Quick.
We might switch from salary to cap hit since some guys have crazy salary fluctuations like Myers who is 12 mil this year and like 6 something next. cap hit doesn't really change year to year though
I don`t see Fowler going anywhere.
But if you like the idea of 5D, you could drop Yakupov for Conacher. He didn`t get too much gametime playing against Van, but hey, that was 1 game to use as a sample size.
Tarasenko might be the best underrated draft this year. Landeskog proved himself last year.
