    I've been offered Ovi for Rick Nash 1-for-1 trade...I'm tempted to take it but I just don't think Ovi's numbers will be that much higher than Nash's and i think nash could actually post better nu,bes as he has a better team around it. Am I crazy not to accept this trade?

      Ovie is absolutely better.

      It is universally recognized that his two year sink (or stink, whatever) is due to the defensive minded coach Dale Hunter. It was not just Ovie that was hurt offensively, it had been ALL of the Capital players.

      Adam Oates is now the coach, and he has made it clear his approach is going to be high-flying freedom for Ovie.

      Stick with Ovie. You will be glad you did.

        Either player will do you well. To me it is a flip of the coin

        Only differences I see is Ovie a few more PIM's and Nash will have a better +/-. Point/ PPP's and GWG's will be similar...

        Nash is not as flashy as Ovie but OI can see 50-60 goals for Nash this year
