Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Trading - Crosby, Hiller
Getting Back - Tavares, Kopitar, and R.Miller
I had no intention of trading Crosby but a penguins fan in my league is offering me a huge haul in return. I'm not concerned with kopitar's minor injury, hes only missed 17 games in 6 NHL season and hes already back skating. I feel like i'm getting a great deal but is it enough for a guy that when healthy is the best in the league?
Good deal for you.
Assuming it isn't an 8 team league or some weird set-up.
Even if CROSBY is healthy (and there is no reason to think he won't be) you still pull out ahead. TAVARES is a top 10 fantasy player, and KOPITAR is top 15. Ryan MILLER puts this way over the top. In a league full of goal tending uncertainty someone like Miller has a lot of value.
I normally would say DON'T TRADE Crosby, however, i think you'd be winning this deal! Even if Kopitar misses a bit of time, having Tavares will easily make up for it!
Can you please help with my post? Thx
I'd definitely do it. Crosby might be best player in the deal when healthy but Tavares is still an elite scorer and Kopitar can be the same when he returns which should be soon. Also Miller is a big upgrade over Hiller so take this for sure. Can you please answer my question about the team I drafted and whether I can win?
Depends on the guy you're dropping to add Kopitar. Crosby will score more points than Tavares, and depending on how their teams do, Hiller might only be a slight downgrade from Miller. I'd think about that one first.
