  • Which Centre would you go with?? or what would you do?

    So, This is the team I drafted except for Voracek who I picked up off Waivers after dropping a D I accidentally drafted. League includes all points/powerplays/shorthanded/plus-minus/PIMS/face-offs/goalie stats. To start I don't think I look terrible, but hope to improve thru the waiver wire like I do each year. Right now I have some question marks around some guys that have been both great and just plain terrible in the past. I think I need to drop off a winger or two and up my centres a bit.

    Here is my team:

    Centres:
    Sidney Crosby(Pit - C)
    Mikko Koivu(Min - C)
    Ryan Getzlaf(Anh - C)

    Defense:
    Zdeno Chara(Bos - D)
    Erik Karlsson(Ott - D)

    Any Suggestions? Looking to for more depth at Centre (I am not big on trades, specially this early in the season).

      drop stewart and pick up either Mcdonald or Roy. Mcdonald is a top 6 in STL (stewart is 3rd line atm), he averaged almost a PPG before getting hurt last year. Roy skated with Eriksson and Jagr and should be poised for a bounceback.

        I was looking at Roy hard. I was either looking at dropping Stewart and/or Horton, just not sure if he will be the same guy anymore..I picked those guys up mainly cause they give me PIMS and points, Stewarts report in camp is that he's in the best shape and Hitchcock wants him to be a go to guy, I might wait it out a week or so and see how the lines look, but I do need a Centre bad. Mcdonald has always appeared on my team sometime in the year, but he's always getting injured.

      Pick up Zajac. He'll get you 60+ points this year. He only played 15 games last year due to injury but he's going to get 1st/2nd line minutes this year. Now that Parise's gone look to see him used more too especially on PP.
