Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle stated that the only thing he would lock in at this point regarding the line-up was that Lupul and Kessel would be playing together again. I don't expect Lupul to repeat his performance from last season, but in a shortened season, it will help that he already has chemistry with his linemate. I like the trade. Dual-position eligibility is a bonus.
