I have a team with your league's stat catagories also. A couple of guys who helped me alot and might be available are Girardi for his Shot-blocks, +/- , and decent Pts..T. Ruutu & Brouwer for their Hits & decent Pts... A. Henrique for Pts. & Shorthand Pts,..Z. Smith for his PiM, & Hits...Many mgrs neglect those more obscure catagories, but they make a big difference. Good luck.
You're showing an awful lot of faith in Schneider to take him in the first round. How many goalies had been taken by that point? I'm hoping Elliott has a repeat season since he's a keeper on two of my teams, but that's a risk. And Chicago spent all summer looking for a replacement for Crawford so that's a position you'll have to keep an eye on and possibly make some hard trades to strengthen mid-season.
Also Meszaros had back surgery this summer so I wouldn't have drafted him in the 25th round, let alone the 21st.
Overall, you've got some good offense but I think you may be in for a long, hard season.

Thanks for the advice Terry. Yeah Schneider was I gamble but I had planned to take 2 other goalies fairly early. Plus if this season gets going I expect Van. to trade Lou and Schneider to get the starting job.....plus if that doesnt happen I know I can trade him(for a good return) to one of the other owners in my league he's a sucker for Van players and would love him as a backup.
Forgot all about that about Meszaros grrrrrrr......gonna to see if I can do something about that....if not I'll be keeping a close eye on him and acting accordingly.
Would it be worth trading some offense for defense help?
Thanks again for the advice.
Oh forgot this is also a keeper league. Also looking for advice on where I might be weak and looking for any trading advice or advice in general on fixing that weakness. Thanks in advance for any help and replies.
