Keeper advice
I'm in a head to head league that i won last year with a very good team. Problem with that is I can only keep 3 players. My choices are, in order of rank to start this season:
Sharp
E. Staal
Halak
Lucic
Backstrom
Letang
Marleau
Skinner
Byfuglien
Campbell
D. Brown
Pietrangelo
J.Staal
I'm leaning toward Sharp, E. Staal and Backstrom. I don't trust Lucic cuz his totals can vary a lot from year to year. I have the last pick in the first round and the first pick in the second round, so theoretically i would like to keep the three guys i know won't be around at those picks.
Anyone have any input?-
you guys underestimate pietrangelo... would keep him over Byfuglien

I would keep Backstrom (WSH), Letang and Byfuglien.
So you own a legit #1 center and 2 of the top5 FH Defenders in the league... your team is so strong because you have like 4 of the top 7 Ds out there... so I would try to repeat this... you can still grab a suprising good forward, but man great Ds are raw...- 2 Replies to Nicolai

I agree that D-men are so important. I just keep thinking that i pick 12th and 13th in the draft. If I let Staal and Sharp go, they definitely won't be there when my picks come up. If I let Letang and Byfuglien go, there might be a chance they are still on the board, then i get them anyway. Its so hard to say. I agree though, if i keep the 2 D, then there could be some solid forwards left at 12 and 13. Its a tough choice!
