    Logan Couture

Couture will be a about a 60 point guy. Solid contributor. Keep in mind there were only 6 guys who broke 82 points last season.

    • yes but he might be playing wing to thorton and pavelski this year. With thortons playmaking. Cant Couture hit at least 70 points? Assuming he stays on that line?

      • I don't see him going higher than 12.7% shooting percentage. So, I'm not sure where these extra points will come from.

      • I think the Sharks have a very very good top6 out there and I dont see Thornton on the first line anymore. This year will be the one for Pavelski and Couture to tear it up.
Wit BigJo, Havlat, Clowe and Marleau this is a top6 as strong as you can get.
I can see them all to crack 60, maybe even 70 points at least. It will be very interesting who is going as the #1 player on this team into the season. Personally I like Pavelski a lot for. He is entering his prime and will be a force on this team. Couture showed that he is a high-end-talent and wherever he plays on this team, these are two excellent #1 lines - so he will get you the points and is an excellent keeper option.
BUT, and here it goes - I would take Bobby Ryan over any of those guys.
I dont know why he gets that much of heat lately, but this guy is young, has 4 30g seasons in a row, brings you PIMs, Hits and 200+ SOG and on a team that will be soooo motivated to make up for the last season AND, if he gets traded he wont play for a worse team that he is doing now.

Consider keeping both, but take Ryan Couture.
