Hello all! As stated above, this will be a Dynasty league with some role-playing elements added to create a different dynamic.
What will make this special is that the league will be salary cap based and players will have to be signed on contracts that will be taken care of on a proboards site.
There will be a league wide salary cap however, there will also be individual salary caps to represent the different market sizes.
Through luck of the draw, managers will take control over 1 of 16 teams and deal with the varying financial issues. Throughout the year and over multiple seasons, random events will occur that can affect a team's pay roll.
I hope to make a league that will not only challenge your hockey smarts, but also your business and management skills.
Personal salary caps and random events will be done via a random number draw with numbers corresponding to a event/bonus/etc.
This league will be 16 teams with

3 LW
3 RW
5 D
2 G
6 Bnch
3 reserve replacements (to avoid having to add players mid season for IR)
a 20 player minor league system starting at 10 the first year and increasing each consecutive year.
