Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
my team severely under-preformed this year which makes keeper selections even harder. i have big name players who didnt step up and i have middle of the road players who did. we keep 5 skaters and one goalie. Gaborik and Sedin are shoe in obviously but after there its all hit or miss.
Thoughts? the team finished dead last which means i also have the 1st overall draft pick

Adam Henrique - he will only get better after an amazing rookie season...
Miko Koivu - would have had a great season if he was not hurt.
Jeff Carter - will excess on LA.
Cam Ward - amazing goalie, bad team but Carolina will only hopes will get better next year. Crawford for my liking is too shaky....
You should keep either Lehtonen or crawford in net and for the 5 forwards i would keep Sedin,Gaborik(Obviously) Lecavalier,Erhoff(Gives you atleast 1 top d-man) and either heatley or the rookie,Henrique.Just my thoughts, good luck to you !!
Carter, koivu, and heatley.
As for the goalie I'm not sure. I'd probably keep Crawford only because I think he is younger and is on a much better team. However ward will probably get a slightly better sv percentage and gaa and more shut outs especially if the canes pick their game up next year
