Just completed a trade for Patrick Sharp. Accepted it before he got hurt. Crappy luck. Anyway...got an empty spot now, so who's my add? My d-men are Doughty, Yandle, Karlsson, Boyle, and Del Zotto. My goalies are Price, Rinne, Niemi, and Rask.
Here are the FAs:
Leaning toward Weiss, Enstrom, Oshie, Landeskog, Filppula, or Ribeiro if he wasn't hurt. Who do you think I should add based on those stats and the guys I have now? Thanks!
I would take Henrique. I picked him up weeks ago. When Zajac came back, they left Henrique centering for Kovy and Parise. How do you not get points centering for those two guys. Plus 7 SHP! I lead my league in shp (6-0-7) thanks to Henrique + M. Koivu and others. Sometimes all you need is 1 shp to win in H2H. After that I would take a chance on Wheeler. 3rd choice would be PA, he's good, but streaky.
This might sound crazy but I would take a risk on wheeler. But, keep in mind, it is a risk!....Wheeler leads the Jets in points. He has 32 ponts and is a+10 rating. Also 6 PP goals is not bad either..He been hot lately too. Has 3 goals so far this month, I would take the risk.

Took your advice and rolled the dice on Wheeler. If I'm being honest, if all my players are playing on a given night, whoever I pick up is going to be on the bench anyway. This is mostly a depth move, so why not roll the dice on a potentially greater reward?
Thanks for your advice!
I was looking at Wheeler too. He's never quite lived up to expectations, but the potential has always been there. Since our league counts faceoff wins though I was leaning toward Weiss. Problem with that is he's been cold lately after a hot start.
