Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I need more scoring and my Goalies are awesome right now.
But if i could make a deal where i would ship out Niemi and Kaberle for Hossa and Seguin do i make that trade??
My team looks like
LW - Parise, Zetterberg, Kunitz, Prospal
C - Stamkos, M. Richards, Plekanec, Weiss
RW - Neal, Carter, Wheeler, Erat
D - Boyle, Kaberle, Bieksa, Liles (IR)
G - Luongo, Niemi, Rask, Ward
It would be a huge upgrade to my forwards, but the thing is our leagues stats are.
G, A, P, +/-, PPP, SOG, W, L, GAA, SV%, SO
So 5 of our 11 stats are for goalies (4 out of 10 shutouts are few and far usually).
Would a tandem of Luongo and Rask be enough to backstop me?
I could pick up Nabokov and Quincey off FA i would drop Erat and Prospal. Then hopefully Mike Richards gets LW eligibilty soon.
Thoughts / Advice?

Doesn't hurt to try. He's really hurting for goalies and our stats really on goalies quite a bit...
I'm just wondering if it would actually improve my team and give me a better chance at winning. Because im currently in 4th out of 10 teams and have been relying heavily on my goals, sog and goalie stats to win my matchups

Yeah that's what i was thinking. So you think my goalies are good to go though i was going to try that Plekanec and Ward for Pominville trade, but he's not very active and i don't want to have to wait.

The only thing im worried about is we have a mandatory 3 game play for all goaltenders.
I would rely on Luongo and Rask to get me by, but one bad week and that means i'd have to win every offensive matchup.
It's a one year head to head league.
He may ask for a little bit more than Niemi and Kabby though so would Niemi and Carter still be good? I'm seriously contemplating it.
