Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I was offered Carey Price for MY Luongo. Straight trade. Numbers such as GAA and SV% do not matter, it is a points only league.
Here are the goalie categories:
I know Luongo starts slowly, but Schneider can be looking at 30 games played while price is in line to play almost every game and the Habs are struggling but I think they will pick it up. It's a risky trade but with Schneider playing like this, Luongo's value can drop a bit. I know Luongo will most likely keep the starting job, but there's no denying Schneider will be seeing his fair share of starts.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Take Price because i know that he will play over 70 games this year too and he will give you for 100% at least 35 wins and 4S. So for me it is a good deal for now and later.
And luongo it is a gamble because you never know for sure maybe or maybe not that is the problem and he is in a very hot spot right now even he won the last game.
Going with price you know for sure that he will give you points and he will play games.
It's a tough decision, but I'd go with Price. Luongo has been horrid, and yes, he'll probably pick up his game, but you said it yourself. Schneider might be looking at 30+ games this season.
Habs are struggling right now, but I think it has to do with the injuries, once they get everybody back, things should start to go their way. And Price has always been dependable and is rarely on cold streaks since last year.
trust me, he will turn his game around, and his team will be near the top of the league at the end of the season. you should still get lots of wins off of lu. its a gamble both ways, but i would rather take a gamble on luongo.
