14 team h2h, goals, assists, +/-, hits, ppp, sog, hits, pim. Thoughts on who wins and why?

    Team A gets:
    Teemu Selanne

    Team B gets:
    Taylor Hall

Hall because Selanne is going to get hurt. Plus Hall will get more opportunity.

just for this season i would still stick with Selanne, he's putting up decent PIMS now too because he's realized he's the backbone of that team so far. He leads it in points, and has over 30 pims already this season. Hall is okay, but he did virtually nothing up to the last two games. a huge blow-out score is going to skew your points stats on the season.. and makes some people quickly forget that he went quite a few games without lighting the lamp prior to his hatty.
The ducks are slumping right now, and that shouldn't continue with their squad, and when they do put up points, Selanne will be one of the most oft mentioned names in that category for the ducks.
and the whole.. 'he'll get injured' argument.. well.. anyone can get injured.. Hall spent time last season injured too, does that make him injury prone? ..

except for the fact that selanne has missed 110 games over the past 4 seasons. Or almost 28 games a season. Yes thats just an average of the last 4 years but take into account the age and his chances to get injured goes up.

If this is a keeper league - hall is the no brain choice. If its a single id prolly go with Selanne. Even if he misses his his average games i dont think there is anyway that Anaheim's offence can continue to be as bad as it has been, whereas edmonton still feels like they are playing above themselves right now and should come back down to earth
