    Bobby Ryan for Kris Versteeg

Don't get me wrong ryan is awesome player but the coaching style doesn't fit too well for him. I see ryan in similar situation as semin. Both good well known players in otherwords "Trade bait" but on a fantasy perspective bobby ryan is garbage and should never be ranked 11th on yahoo lmao. He should be at 70-80th at best.

    • There is no question. Take Ryan and run. Anaheim always starts slow.

    • and Versteeg should take his spot? Bobby Ryan is an elite forward. on an actual elite team. Yeah the quacks have sucked thus far, but Fla is one team that is far exceeding it's expectations. Teams will adapt sooner than later to the play styles of Toronto and Fla. and when they do you can already see what's happening. Edmonton returning back to normal.. Toronto losing as they should.. and soon enough, the ducks will retake their bubble spot and Fla will be near the basement. you're making the right kind of deal, you're selling high, and you're buying low. that's how that works, chances are you picked up versteeg of waiver wire.. or got him really late in the draft.. and Bobby Ryan probably went quick.. so you just took someone's top draft pick, for a WW pick up.. no matter how you break it down.. you're still winning the POTENTIAL of the deal, everything is based off of speculation, sure stats wise THUS FAR into the season, Versteeg has been a work horse.. but who cares, you reaped those benefits. He either keeps it up or it fades.. most experts will agree that all signs point to FADE. the ducks have one of the best PP's and first line in the league, they are off to a bad start.. should everyone be accepting Corey Perry for Versteeg too? his output has been lackluster? ... I'm not trying to rip on you, but the guy who made this trade made the right deal. He upgraded a player, overall skill, overall historical fantasy output, and for eff's sake, he's on a better team. regardless of what the standings say right now.
