    First overall?

h2h keeper, would you take Ovie, Stamkos, Henrik or Daniel Seidn, Corey Perry, Malkin, or Crosby? I am leaning towards Stamkos or Ovie.

    • OV. Left wing is typically the thinnest position in fantasy hockey, although RW is quite thin this year. OV will produce solid stats across the board, no matter what stats your league counts. Don't take a center... there are so many good centers to choose from each year. I dropped Thornton and Skinner from my keeper team last year for this reason. Thorton made it 3 or 4 rounds post-keeper placement before he was even drafted. Don't keep a center unless it's a guy like Henrik, Stamkos, or Crosby, but I wouldn't grab a center first given the choice. I'd definitely take OV first and Daniel second. Daniel may outscore OV, but OV will contribute much more in categories such as PIMs and HITs. Not to mention, the Caps look unstoppable.

    • Ovie is probably the best all around choice. He can provide plenty of goals and assists no doubt (especially considering he is on a bounce-back season) and he is usually healthy. His rough play is sure to get you some PIM's and he should score a lot of PPP along with getting you a good plus/minus when you look at the hot team he is on. He is a young forward as well.
