Stephen Weiss (useful for FW's, off to a good start)
1) Dropping Hamonic for a d-man
2) Maybe dropping Varlamov for Roloson? Or another forward like Smyth, Landeskog, or Weiss?
So who is it? Bergeron? Liles? Quincy? I have Karlsson so I'm not sure if it's worth it to have Gonchar too. Seems like they'll rise and fall together, but maybe I'm approaching that idea the wrong way.
No reason to keep anymore D than the number of D starting spots that you have. Outside of the top defensmen, few put up as many points or affect most of the categories you have as much as teh avg winger.

I know, but Doughty getting injured is a wakeup call. We get two player adds per week, so even if somebody is only out for a few days I'd be leaving that spot empty night in and night out because I wouldn't be able to add anybody. Seems stupid not to carry at least one bench d-men, especially if it's somebody from a different team than some of my other players. Right now I'm in a cycle of everybody playing one day, and nobody the next. Hopefully that evens out as the season goes on.
i agree with Bowes.
why are so many decent D out there?
how many teams are in your league?
id probably take gonchar... i know he wasnt great last year but this year he seems to be playing like his old self again.
MAB would probably be my 2nd choice.
goalie wise id just hold off. but if you really want to drop varl then id probably grab a forward over rolo.
I'd keep Varly for now, as far as D goes definitely drop Hamonic for pretty much any of those guys. Salo and Bergeron are hot right now, Liles, Timonen even Gonchar are putting up points too. Quincey looks poised for a really good year as well . It's hard to pick just one
