    Ginormous Trade!!

I was just offered this trade in my 10 team h2h league:

    I Get I Give
    Bobby Ryan Daniel Sedin
    Chris Stewart Milan Michalek
    Devon Setoguchi Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
    Dustin Byfuglien Dion Phaneuf

Should I do it?? why/why not??

    THanks!

    • Gotta agree with Mike D. About the only thing tempting is getting Michalek and even if he maintains this scoring pace, his plus minus is going to be awful.

The only thing to bare in mind is so far this season the Senators lines don't seem to be totally set. Granted as of late Michalek seems to be paired most often with Spezza and Greening. But no matter what he will skate on the top line.

Both players lead their respective teams in TOI averages (McDonald doesn't count because he's injured) with Stewart on a line with Berglund and Oshie, he will get his chances but they will be significantly less.

Basically with Stewart for Michalek, if you want to take a "risk" on a trade that might pay off big then go for it, in the grand scheme of a long season, even if it backfires it wouldn't cripple you.

    • Anyone who uses a word like ginormous deserves to be duped in a trade. I strongly recommend you make this trade.

    • Can't say I love it for you.

      Sedin beats Ryan

      Stewart beats Michalek

Setoguchi RNH Who knows but with Setoguchi you have an idea of what you're going to get.

Phaneuf looks to be better than Byfuglien this year.

The only one I think you win for sure here is the Stewart Michalek

    • Just about everyone you're giving up, you're getting someone worse.

      Sedin > Ryan
      RNH > Setoguchi
Phaneuf and Byfuglien is a wash
I don't know much about Chris Stewart and Michalek, but I know Michalek has dual winger eligibility and is off to a good start...

      I wouldn't do it.
