im curious about that because for the past two years the sedins have led the NHL in scoring. Im not a canuck fan but rather a blackhawk fan. But a healthy sedin seems better than a risky crosby...thanks for the advice though...ill hold off on the trade. What do you expect from crosby? a full season?
The difference is both the Sedin's are almost point a game performers (and thats being generous) and Crosby has been a consistent 1.25 point per game performer, thats a huge difference. In a points only or Rotisserie league an injured Crosby and a well played bench will still net you more points than a lone Sedin. Losing him in a head to head league would be more of a challenge but not insurmountable.
After all last year Sid the Kid still was a top 30 forward, and he only played half a season. TO get 40 points out of your drafted bench depth through careful situational play should be easy in 40 games. Its taken 10 years in the league for the Sedins to reach their ceilings, where as Sid's ceiling has yet to be realized.
