Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Should I drop Michalek for Cody McLeod? McLeod is a tough guy who can get hits and PIM and I need those two stats really bad. So it should be a good choice anyway since they are both LW's.
LW Alex Ovechkin (WSH)
LW Michael Cammalleri (MON)
LW Simon Gagne (LA)
LW Ryan Malone (TB)
LW Milan Michalek (OTT)
Note: All the other tough guys are gone so McLeod is the best option left for LW's, and I just don't want Michalek so I think this should be a good deal for me. I just want to know if you guys will agree. Thanks.
im in a cbs sportsline league an ive had mcleod the last 2 years, he was good for around 170 pts, great 4 penalty min, we dont get points for hits thou. michalek is a puzzle, he was great in s.j but since his injury has not done much. i hoped he would excel along side spezza and alfi but last yr was a dissappointment. with mcloed his stats are steady, i just hope michalek doesnt shine this if you let him go. good luck
Probably couldn't hurt, Michalek is pretty much useless for everything except goals, and he goes long stretches without those, and his +/- will likely be very bad again this year. Michalek is a guy I try to avoid altogether.
