    Players! Players! Players!

I am in a head to head league and the categories are:
Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shots on Goal (SOG), Hits (HIT), Blocks (BLK)

    The positions are:
    C, C, LW, LW, RW, RW, D, D, D, Util, G, G, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN

I was offered a couple of one player deals that i am considering, the offers are these:

    David Backes for Marian Gaborik

    Jack Johnson for Alex Pietrangelo

    Steve Downie for Steve Ott

What do you think, on which ones should i do or not do: please Give logical answers and explanations instead of just saying do it or don't do it.

    • second offer: stay/keep Pietrangelo. i really like the blues team this year and Alex will get a huuuuge role on this team

third offer: though FW dont count I would take Downie over Ott.

first offer: Backes brings the complete package of stats.
But Gaborik (still young enough to play a lot) COULD be in for a huuuuuge season on Goals. but a little gamble.
Backes was huge last season, but the year before...naaa...

it's a little gamble, but I think stay with Gaborik for the first weeks and hope for a good start. then trade him with his value very high...

    • 1. I would take Backes in this situation mainly because he is younger and not as injury prone as Gaborik, though Brad Richards is now on NY and if he is on a line with Gaborik, Gaborik might score ALOT.

      2. Alex Pietrangelo, he is younger than Jack Johnson and Jack doesn't play with Downie i don't think, Downie might not even get signed and from what I know they're both on the powerplay, stick with Pietrangelo.

3.. Keep Downie, they're both tough guys but Downie plays on the 1st/2nd line, hes young, and he will get way more points than Ott.
