Here are the stats for the league so you know why I got some players like Manny Malhotra.
Goals (G), Assists (A), Points (P), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shots on Goal (SOG), Faceoffs Won (FW), Hits (HIT), Blocks (BLK)
Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)
I would like to see some thoughts about the players I drafted and if I need to work on some spots on my roster. Thanks and comment!
i think you did ok but you will suffer in the +/- Hits BS PIM and hits cat
and you may have difficulty in the goalie cat too though it is not too important with the 11-4 ratio in stats.
as long as your aging roster holds up i think you will be a low end playoff team
Nice roster. My only comment is that you seemingly have alot of players in their 30's, and for a dynasty league or keeper league, you'll need to decide if you have a 'win now' philosophy and dump the older ones if you don't, or a 'build' philosophy, in which event I'd consider trading away some older assets (Dobber would disagree!) for younger blood now.
for your league, you have a really good roster. however, your goalies need work. i would trade ovechkin for a goalie like fleury and adding a player like, say, kane. patrick kane of course, not evander.
