    Lecavalier for Green

Straight-up, one-year, h2h. scoring being G, A, PPP, SHP, Hits, SOG. My other centers are Kopitar, Dubinsky, Marleau, and Sharp. My other d-men are Doughty, J. Johnson, Shattenkirk, Edler, Visnovsky, and Myers. I'd be giving Vinny and getting Green.

Know I already asked this, but anyone think this is a good idea? I think this is the lowest price Green will be at all season, especially if he returns to form. Trying to make sure I'm doing the right thing here before I pull the trigger.

    • i have green and i wouldnt trade him for lecavelier. greens been playing with injuries all year.....hopefully he can get healthy and turn it around.

    • all this is, is a go with your gut trade. who do you think is going to do better after the break

    • Well now I don't feel like it was a good deal lol. I'm hoping what every Green, Ovechkin, Backstrom, or Semin owner is hoping...that when Washington turns it around so will all of those players. My other centers are Kopitar, Marleau, Sharp, Dubinsky, and Stastny, so I felt I could spare Vinny, but I may have ripped myself off with this one unless Green turns it around. Someone tell me I didn't do the wrong thing lol.

      • It may end up being a wash. Whatever position you need is what you should go after rather than worrying about who will get more points. Reason I say that is because Lecavalier as a forward will get about the same amount of points as Green as a defensemen. Aside from two very good seasons for Lecavalier, he is a 70 point player (when playing the full season). Green has hit 70 in each of the last two seasons. They both see powerplay time with top talent. Both are well off of their career paces this season, but of their production so far, Lecavalier is on pace for 42 points with 34 PPP, while Green is on pace for 35 points and 14 PPP (according to TSN Player pages). Again, these are just stats, watch the games and see who is putting in more effort.

    • by the way I posted my team in my post if you could check it out.

      • I was just about to offer someone Green for Lecavalier... I'm also in a H2H with my other defenders being Rafalski, Shattenkirk and Yandle. Green only has 1 point in his last 13 games. I have a great list of forwards, but no forwards on the bench... all of my bench slots are occupied by D (2) and G (2).

    • I'd do it. I'm not sold on Vinny anymore. I think if he ever gets traded he might be worth something. I have green and am hoping washington picks it up. If they do he's far more valuable than Vinny.
