Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I just took over a team that was previously own by a different person and am making quite a bit of changes to it. Do you think its fair if I propose the following trade:
I give up:
It's a pretty deep league and the stat categories are as follows:
Forwards/Defensemen Stat Categories:
Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Powerplay Points (PPP), Game-Winning Goals (GWG), Shots on Goal (SOG)
Goaltenders Stat Categories: Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)
Here is what my team currently consists of:
Sean Avery (dropped Nikita Filatov)
As you can see the team is pretty good aside from defenceman.
Do you think the above trade is fair?
I'm thinking of proposing Corey Crawford for Antero Nittymaki. Is that a good move to make?
Thanks in advance!
if u looking towards the future (which is kinda apparent with trading Alfie) i would hold onto Corey Crawford as he appears to be the furure for the hawks... and nitty not so much as he is in a timeshare and nvr was a consistent starter
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Are you joking.
Alfie is the Sens captain and he was almost top 50 going in.
Kesler is one of the Canucks' best centers.
Not only that, Kesler is still playing like it's hot.
Meanwhile, Couture is a pure rookie that's just hot while Horton is doing OKAY on the Bruins.
Figure it out yourself, I shouldn't have to tell you.
Also, at least you made a good decision with Avery, he's at least better than Filatov but he's not really good if you don't have PIM in your league.
Also, yes Crawford would be good for Nitty, he'll be taking over BlackHawks.
Why would you want to get rid of kesler AND alfredson?
I bet you could put a mediocre guy in there like filiipa, avery or kostitsyn for those guys.
Unless you want to get rid of one of those guys I would makes some moves.
I think both of those guys will out perform couture and horton
I'd stay with Kesler. No need to trade for the guys you mentioned. Also, Crawford is good but CHI will try to give Turco most of the starts (atleast half).
See how your team plays first and assess it. There's nothign stupider than a new guy walking into a league and immediately making moves without seeing how his team plays out.
